What Halsey just did is literally all that Taylor is asking other big artists to do. Make a post on your fucking Instagram story. Tweet. Bring this issue to light. Talk about it. Let your fans know it’s happening. It’s so fucking easy and, quite frankly, relatively risk-free from where I’m sitting. And it’s just so incredibly frustrating that artists stay silent and stay complicit with power imbalances when it’s so fucking easy to talk about it and start trying to change it. I’m so disillusioned by the silence. I really am.
